Well the guy didn't have any form of ID that could prove he was from Ga that he could show. So unless your 21 or older and hold a GA licenses you want be purchasing a pistol from me friend. Prefer CC permit.

Can't blame ya there.

Also said he was buying it for his dad and he said his mom could verify. You are right on the law of 18. I prefer CC permit holders to be safe.

You're wrong. Under 21 but over 18 can buy in a private party sale. Your gun; your rules. Your law knowledge is questionable.

Uh... exactly what makes him wrong?

Someone tried to purchase something from him who had NO identification to prove his age OR is residency.
His requirement for purchasing from him is the age needs to be 21.
That's not wrong, that's HIS rules for buying a gun from him.
I don't think, in what he wrote, he said anything about the law.

And unless he went to the purchasers house or the purchaser came to his house,
doing the transaction WOULD technically be illegal in a parking lot somewhere because
once you step out of your vehicle, the purchaser would HAVE to have a Georgia Weapons License
or he would be in possession of a firearm, under age, outside of his home or his vehicle,
without consent of the property owner.

So, no... he wasn't wrong.

I think his point was that you can own a firearm at 18. That's what he meant about being wrong.
