Have a marlin .30-30 made in 2019..comes with bushnell red dot..if your in Georgia transaction must take place at an ffl

Yeah just luck. Marlins made after Remington took over are trash and not worth much. Pre safety and jm stamped will be almost 2x as much as any new gun sadly but that’s the market for them… yea it’s stupid but not as dumb as buying a Remington made 30-30

Not all JM marlins are perfect, misaligned barrels aren't too uncommon.
 
Jm are just more collectible than the Remington made ones. They dropped in quality when they sold out to Remington “doesn’t mean they are bad guns” just not special enough for a price mark up period
