Barrel shroud makes 16" , barrel is actually 9" threaded 1/2x28 for silencer

I'm kind of confused about what's going on here. Is the suppressor supposed to go inside the shroud? Is the barrel threaded AT the barrel?

You don't have to suppress it. It will work just like a huge pinned on flash hider but not reduce the noise. Maybe direct it forward, but not reduce it

The barrel is 9" and threaded 1/2x28. When you add a can to it, the length is only increased by about an inch past the end of the shroud, depending
