I just got this in a trade and before I do anything to mess up the condition of this beauty, im putting it right back up for trade or sale.
This is pretty much a brand new 1201. According to the gentleman I got it from he has never shot it and the guy he got it from forgot about it in the closet and also never shot it. I'm not entirely sure when the shotgun was made, but I know they stopped producing them in the early 2000's. While it's a little dusty, there is absolutely zero carbon on it and the barrel looks like a mirror all the way through. I will say if you're looking to have a super modern tactical shotgun you can put rails and optics on, this ain't going to be the one for ya due to it have little aftermarket support. You can swap the stock and the barrel and magazine tube from a benelli m1 will swap over from what I've read online and you can get an over sized charging handle for it. The factory parts are plentiful on the internet tho. But if your looking for a quality entry level semiauto with that tried and true beretta inertia operation system, you probably won't be disappointed. It would also make a lovely safe queen given it's condition.
Now off to the trade interests. I'm mainly looking for either a dissapator style or m16a4 style ar15.
It doesn't hurt to offer other trades, but chances are I won't be interested unless I just have to have it.
I'm not sure how to price this one, but I feel $700 might not be to far off its cash value. If anyone has any info on its true worth +/- what I'm asking, I'll willing take some info and adjust accordingly.
