Here is some after.
The cloth got pretty dirty. I cut the cloth in half cause I am going to clean another gun with the other half tomorrow.

problem areas are gone - I did this in about 10 minutes.
The cloth worked real well - not a lot of elbow grease needed. I think the cloth worked as advertised.

Don't worry about the "dirty" part of the cloth. Keep using it. It will clean just as well, even when dark. That oxidation will stay with the cloth. Some will rub off a little, but polish your gun real good with a soft cloth, like a tee shirt or towel, and they will shine like crazy. Never worry about the dark areas of the cloth. They still work just fine.

Post up a photo or two, let's take a look. Most stains, yes. Hard rust, iron, or chemical stains, it's 50/50.

I know these will remove sharpie/magic marker from glass and metal, they have been reported to clean up glazed plastic headlights, will doctor light scratches in CD's and DVD's (personal experience).

Here is what it looked like after:
Disclaimer - I cleaned my gun as normal prior to using the cloth.
I found the polishing cloth does an outstanding job of getting my stubborn areas clean using minimal pressure and no abrasives.
I am very happy with how the cloth worked and will order a few.
