Item Description: i know almost nothing about this gun, got it on trade and I don’t collect these so I have minimal knowledge.
It’s a mosin and it looks decent.

Cash or trade is good, I like small caliber handguns or rifles.

Judging by the shape of the stock it’s a Chinese type 53 Mosin but you need to post pictures of the top of the receiver, that’s where all the info everyone is interested in is located

Yep definitely a type 53 in pretty good shape 1954 year

Thanks, I think thats what the consensus has been, I just have minimal knowledge about surplus. I stated this in the last comments before I reposted it but I have looked down the bore with flashlight, I don’t have a bore light. The rifling looks strong and I don’t see any pitting.
