Item Description: Mossberg 930 with extended magazine tube 6+1, 18.5 inch standoff barrel, accepts 2 3/4 and 3 inch shells, 6 round side saddle, and JM bolt handle. Super fun to shoot, and I gave her a deep cleaning recently. Great home defense weapon; throws a lot of lead downrange. Recoil from 3 inch shells is minimal since it's semiauto. A couple offers didn't pan out, and I want get this thing sold, so price has been dropped to $500. Cash is king, unless you make me a trade offer I can't refuse. Thanks for looking.

Just curious - I’m not a buyer at the moment but may one day return to the shotgun scene - how reliable was your 930 for you? I’ve heard mixed reviews on their cycling of low brass birdshot shells.

Mine has been pretty good to me. The 930 (and I did a lot of research before before getting it) was touted as being a decently priced shotgun that would run anything. But truthfully, it hiccups when it's being run dirty. It's flawless after it's been cleaned,. Bottom line is that if you take care of it, it'll take care of you. It's a great entry level gun into the semiauto shotgun market and won't break the bank like an FN or Benelli; you just have to take proper care of it.
