I believe you would still need to pay tax on the bike when you register the motorcycle. But I would like to see the pics too. Thanks!

This is a private sell so you will not pay sales tax. The rules are changing at the state and you will have to pay sales tax in 2013 whether it's a private or dealer sell.

Glad to know no sales tax for private sales still in effect! I thought the rules have changed already. I just took my Motor Safety Course 2 weeks and looking for a beginner's bike. I think yours is too new for me to get, lol. GLWS!

Buy it! I saw a 2011 get dropped on its side the other day and all it did was bend the clutch lever.

I've been riding for over 30 years and this is a great beginners bike and they're pretty dang fun for experienced riders. The insurance on this for me is $7.00 per month, along with 88 mpg, it's about the least expensive way to get around I can think of. the fuel injection allows to fire right up in a second or two unlike the 250 ninja, which gets much less gas mileage. This one is still new enough to break in teh way you please and do everything correctly from teh beginning andstill has the warranty. This thing weighs nothing for a bike, I don;t think you will have much trouble with keeping it upright.
