I have to say that is one of the absolute best looking old rabbit eared shotguns I’ve ever seen. Hopefully someone will buy it soon.

checking with "your" gunsmith first will be of little value unless he is a trained barrel maker. It is a fine piece for display, regardless. It has some good features only found on higher grade guns.
