NOW FOR THE BREAK DOWN:
I sent this rifle back to Remington 10 years ago an had them completely reblue/refinish it. I had the machined bolt blued as well.
I installed a timeny trigger 1.2-4 pound if I remember right.
THe action is bedded and the barrel completely free floated.
The sights have been removed and filled with screws before it was sent for refinishing.
It has a one peice weaver style mount with -0- MOA
It is in its original stock and shows battle scars of being hunted before the refinish. It has a few dings bangs and the finish is cracking. Could use a refinishing and this rifle would be beyond beautiful!
The boyds thumbhole stock is sold.
This price is a fair price, to buy and build one like her would cost between 800-1000 with no glass.
