Item Description: Remington #4 rolling block single shot fixed barrel 32rf rifle with hex barrel.Wood and metal are in very good condition no pitting or gouges although bore is pretty rough. This rifle would be a good candidate for relining barrel for another caliber .Seems to function as it should but have not fired it being that ammo is obsolete and almost impossible to fine

When you say "barrel is pretty rough", is that dirty and hasn't been cleaned in a long time, or rusty with noticeable pitting?

I believe its just a built up of lead and powder over the years.I'ved used a wire bore brush and J B bore cleaner and it does look a little better but still needs work.Don't really see any pitting but haven't had it bored scoped.
