Item has been relisted, you can find the new listing at: https://www.theoutdoorstrader.com/threads/fs-ft-savage-110-30-06.1523612/
Item Name: FS/FT Savage 110 30-06

Location: Sandy Springs

Zip Code: 30328

Item is for: Sale or Trade
Sale Price: $270
Trade Value or Items Looking For: Anything

Caliber: 30-06

Willing to Ship: No

Bill of Sale Required?: No

Item Description: Older Savage 110 30-06. I took this in on trade awhile back with the intention of using the long action for a .338 build. I never got around to it and it’s just been sitting in the safe. The gun looks to have been hunted with a good bit for sure. The barrel has some marks and scuffs and some slight (very slight) surface rust in a few spots. The wood stock is in decent shape and has a limb saver butt pad. Overall the rifle appears to be in good working condition and would be great for someone looking for a cheap rifle to hunt with.

I am open to pretty much anything as far as trades. Let me know if you have any questions.

How long is the barrel, and do you have the scope mounts for it?

Looks like a solid hunting rifle for a great price.

Out of curiosity, what kind of 338 did you plan to build.... 338-06; 338 Fed; 338 WSM; 338 RCM; or maybe a 338 Spectre? I've always been a fan of the 338 Fed, but the '06 version has always tempted me.

length of barrel and do you have the scope mount for the rifle.

Barrel measures 22”.

Depends what you mean by scope mount. I know I have some old high mounts that will fit a 1” tube. I likely have something else laying around that fits it too but is it going to work for your scope? Scope mounts are sort of a personal thing as far as design, height, tube size, etc.

Thanks. I was back and forth between the 338 Fed and trying the 338 Edge. Would have been one of those two but I was leaning toward the Edge. Still might do it if the rifle doesn’t sell or get traded.

I would have guessed a magnum action would be the one used for a 338 Edge.

I've been wanting a 33 Nosler myself, may sell my 338 Win Mag one day to get one.
