This S&W 29-10 has a very nice finish and if I remember I think these came out in 2007 which would make it the 50th anniversary of the model 29 as I had the same and I let her go about a year ago back and it is one I wish I had kept.

Don't know if this one counts the test case in the box says it was fired April 8, 2008. But yes it very nice and impossible to keep finger prints off of.

Any marks or imperfections in the nickel finish?

Where the top strap has been I would assume bead blasted to remove the finish and prevent reflections there appear to be some markings made from this process and the matte finish extends slightly on to the vertical side of the barrel. No major chips or deep scratches, but the gun has been shot so it is not factory new and the cylinder has turn marks. The pictures are fairly accurate as to the condition probably more exaggerated that what would be noticed normally. If one was really picky you could say it is not perfect, but then again it came of a production line and I doubt it ever was. It has been well cared for but it is used.
