For sale is my "spare" 1911. As you see it here it's dressed up with a set of VZ grips and a Wilson Combat bushing mount magwell. For the base price here, these are not included, but you may purchase them for an additional $50 (only with the sale of the gun), gun will come with the stock wood laminate grips and no mag well. Heinie Straight 8 night sights installed by a gun smith. Fewer than 500 rounds down range.
The E series is overshadowed by Springfield Armory at this price point, but this sucker has a lot going for it. Stainless steel, full length guide rod, front strap checkering, contoured thumb safety (you don't have to build that lovely 1911 callous on the web of your hand!), forward cocking serrations, flat topped and serrated slide. The serrations and the front strap checkering are pretty obvious, but the extra slide cuts reduce the reciprocating mass of the slide and the FLGR adds weight to the front of the gun. both of those features combat muzzle climb. The gun is a soft shooter. Zero malfunctions.
