Item Description: The Smith & Wesson Model 686 is a six- or seven-shot double-action revolver manufactured by S&W and chambered for the .357 magnum Cartridge. It will also chamber and fire .38 special cartridges. Smith & Wesson introduced the Model 686 in 1980. It is the stainless steel version of the 586, which was a blued steel finish. The Model 686 is based on S&W's K/L (medium) revolver frame.
This particular 686-4 with 2 ½” barrel is in excellent condition and was produced by S&W in 1994. It comes as pictured with no box or docs and wearing rubber Hogue Grips as was introduced in 1994 on the -4 models.
I am mainly looking for cash, but would trade for other smith revolvers. Main interest right now is a 6” no dash 686. As expected I would need cash with the 686 as the 2 1/2” barrels are considerably more rare. Gun can be shipped to local FFL for 20 extra. Please PM for response.
