This is a 9mm Springfield 1911 RO that has had custom work done to it by Brannen Moss at Moss Firearms in Jasper. There’s probably about $900 of parts and gunsmithing in addition to the base gun. Shoots very nice, EXCEPTIONAL trigger, safety and slide fitment are very nice for a factory gun. This was built as a direct clone of my Ed Brown. Here’s a list of what it’s got:
-Undercut trigger guard
-Front strap hand checkered to 25 lpi
-Dehorned sights and slide
-Nighthawk magwell hand blended to the frame
-Ed Brown full length guide rod
-Dawson sights and mag release
-VZ version of the old Simonich/Strider Gunner grips
-Black cerakote
This is a great shooter. No issues getting it to run with any ammo I’ve fed it.
Only trades I’m interested in would be a Vortex Impact 4000, tan NX8 2.5-20, Cross Machine Tool 17” arca handguard for an AR, RCBS Matchmaster dies for 223 or 6.5 Creedmoor.
