Looks like an aftermarket deep carry clip. One of the first mods most people do to their carries. It was clearly a user.
Ive bought several knives from this guy and they've all checked out as legit. Other than the fact that he assembled the pivot screw backwards, the lettering, the grind, the jimping all checks out to me ‍

China makes some good stuff just ask 2020

Just making my observational points, just like you are. And $250 for a user strider isnt suspiciously cheap. I say its under valued about $100. If it was brand new, thatd be a different story.
