Beretta sent the machinery for the Cougar to their subsidiary Stoeger, who continued to make this excellent all-metal pistol to the same high-quality standards, with a 3.6" barrel, 5" height and overall length of 7" and weight of 32.6 ounces. It is the rotating barrel design (like the Beretta PX4), which makes for greater accuracy and softer recoil.
