fixed barrel compact .45 acp ouch!! what's the recoil like??

Recoil is about like a 32 oz. 1911 with a 3-1/2 inch barrel. While the barrel if fixed, it is not a pure blow-back gun. The slide is locked to the frame at the moment of firing, just like a 1911, and the bullet is out of the barrel before the slide starts to move, just like a 19ll. Look above the grip on the last picture and you will see a wedged cut-out in the bottom of the slide. The stirrup lock rises up from behind the top of the grip when the stirrup lock lever (which looks like the grip safety on a 1911) is depressed as the pistol is gripped to fire it. The next to last picture shows the stirrup lock down and the cut-out empty. The lever has a good bit of mechanical advantage over the lock, I've never met anyone who is strong enough to move the slide with the lever depressed.
