That's a great muzzle loader!! uses number 9 percussion caps if I remember correctly, not modern day primers. I have the same and it has performed perfectly thru the years, many deer taken. Very handy, well made, ergonomic carbine length muzzle loader, yours looks to be in pretty darn good condition!!!

Nice. I had the synthetic stock version of that years ago. Great shooter. This is a bargain.
