Item Relisted! FS/FT Winchester 101

If you can find a venue that caters to trapshooters (trapshooters.com) you will get top dollar (or a local gun club). I would research that site to see what comparable guns are bringing.

If you follow the ads here, trap guns tend to be slow sellers.

We have two different trap matches at my club. Only problem is the trap shooters want the high combed-straight stocked versions. Barrels are too long for skeet. Maybe the sporting clays guys.

Just to add a bump to the thread. I was given a similar gun by my dad in the early 70's. It was a birthday present and was used and was sold by a gun shop as same factory make as a win 101 but it was marked Nikko and said made in Kodensha on the bottom. It is a 26" and IC and Mod. Apparently a service man had brought it back from Japan and traded it in on a new A5. It even has some initials inlayed in ivory in the stock and ivory diamonds in the fore end and but cap. Dad negotiated them down to $125 on it back in 1972. I would never part with that gun. Thought you guys would find this interesting. I shot a few dove and quail with it back when I was a teenager.

Thanks for that gasph. A gun like that should stay in the family and used. I couple of years ago I found a 20 guage marked "Mirouku". Looked exactly like a superposed. Beautiful gun. Bought it and now my friend Phil uses it for quail.
