Item Description: I have a 1873 Uberti Winchester Rifle. It has a 24 inch octagon barrel and is in mint condition. I bought the rifle new about 12 years ago, and it has never been fired. It has been a safe queen it's entire life. I have only taken it out to admire it's spectacular case hardning colors and wipe down. A new one like this one sells for quite a bit more today. I would trade for a 1873 Carbine or Trapper model in mint condition or 357 or 44 mag 1892 carbine, or what have you. Make me an honest offer as my rifle is a gorgeous piece.. I have been trying to research these rifles. It would appear that Uberti has made then 1873 Winchester style for some time, but around 2013 they started making them in Japan and Winchester was stamped on the barrel. I assume since you bought it 12 years ago it is just the straight Uberti model?

Uberti still makes this model in Italy. Winchester marked rifles are made by Miroku in Japan. 2 totally different rifles
