Item Description: Hey all you vintage Marlin lovers! Check this out. I have been collecting Marlins for 35 years now and this is the only one I have ever seen. It is a slide action, exposed hammer .22 takedown. I guess it was Marlins version of the Winchester Gallery Gun! The gun looks to be in awesome overall condition and shoots like a dream. I just looked at the pics and in one of them it looks like there is thick rust on the upper part of the receiver. There is no rust! It has some freckling and nice 100 year old patina. Based on the serial number it was made in 1915. Not too bad for a gun that is 100 years old. Will sell for $799.00 but really prefer to trade for any quality hand gun or handguns, revolver or semi auto preferably in stainless steel. PM's pls from people I do not know. If we have done business before you are welcome to call me. Thanks for looking, Tom 404-427-5275.
