Just a question, you and others stipulate a Ga firearms license to purchase - why? Not required by Ga law - a Ga DL is supposed to be enough. I know it's your prerogative, just wondering the reason behind it.
I agree, even a cop better have good reason to ask and see my CCDW permit. The only time I present my CCDW permit, is to an FFL dealer and I do it with great reluctance to satisfy BATF regulations. The great benefit and right we have protected by the constitution and the law of the land, is the ability to purchase weapons from private individuals unfettered and free of any intervention.
And the seller also enjoys those same rights to sell to whom ever, with pretty much any legal stipulation he/she wants to sell under.
For me it's a matter of knowing that I'm not selling to an individual that cannot purchase and possess firearms. A person that cannot legally purchase a firearm will more than likely have a Ga Driver's License but could not go to a gun shop and purchase a firearm. I can't do a background check, so for me, the GFL makes me sleep a little better.
Apologies to the OP, hope your ad stays on track, and GLWS. My buddy bought a Hi-Point C9, and had a ton of fun with it! I don't think I ever saw it hiccup in any way!

Hey guys, I wasn't trying to start a dispute. I was merely trying to figure out why some folks required the GFL and most don't. I'm fully able to buy a handgun and I've been forced to pass on several opportunities because I don't have a GFL.
