I find the tag very interasting to say the least,
'threat level IV ballistic plate's'
but;
"It is NOT intended to protect against sharp-edge or pointed objects"
I have only seen tags like this on soft armor
BUMP

These plates are not steel plates like AR500, they’re composite made from high-density alumina ceramic core (Al2O3) backed with layered polymer composite fiber and finished in a black Cordura Nylon Covering. A foam pad is affixed to the Strike-Face in order to protect against severe drops passing over the NIJ’s recommended 2, going up to 10 drops.

Composite plates will stops bullets but blades with enough force can rip through the fibers after the core.

You can learn more about them here and their NIJ Certification: https://www.hoplitearmor.com/produc...stand-alone-26605?_pos=4&_sid=b97e18e0b&_ss=r
