For sale is an excellent Howa 1500 .308 barreled action with a 20" threaded varmint barrel and factory floor plate. All you need is a stock and a scope for this to be a complete rifle. Perfect for long range precision AND trips to the deer blind. These rifles are very underrated and underappreciated in the States, but are outstanding quality. Howa is the same company that has been making superb firearms for the Japanese military for decades. The Howa 1500 is also the same exact rifle as the classic Smith & Wesson 1500 (produced on contract by Howa) that saw limited production back in the early '80s.
I am also selling the Bell & Carlson stock that I had on the rifle before I separated the two. It is the M40 style stock in brown with black splatter. Is in like new condition, pictured below. You can see my previous listing to see how it looked on the rifle. If you are interested in the stock as well, I will install it and sell you both for $635.
This rifle has had less than 50 rounds through it and is excellent condition. Bore has a mirror finish. The only problem is that there is a slight difference in finish at the muzzle, and a small mark a couple inches from the muzzle (pictured below). I can throw in some Talley 30mm rings made for this rifle in to sweeten the deal if requested.
