What's the manufacture date?

Unclear but it's probably not older than 10 years or so. The guy I got them from gets IDF stuff in pretty regularly and some of it is more "unofficial second hand" than proper surplus.

What size carrier?

The wrong size, it looks like. Never tried putting the plates in but the carrier is set up for shooter cut so this carrier won't work with the plates. I'm going to relist to reflect that.
