Item Description: This hard to find pistol is a full featured 1911 that conceals better than a full-size without sacrificing capacity. It offers finely tuned performance in a smaller and easier to shoot package. The 9mm RO Champion® brings the precision of a competition pistol in a shortened and lighter-recoiling configuration.
This mint condition 9mm RO Champion® has been modified with a green fiber optic front sight and a Novak Wide Notch low-profile, black combat rear sight for quick target acquisition and maximum target visibility. It has a single-sided thumb safety, extended lightweight trigger and flat mainspring housing. A fully supported ramped hammer-forged barrel locks up tight to the slide to ensure accuracy. The barrel feed ramp has been polished and is bullet-to-barrel – not bullet-to-alloy – for longer life.
This pistol has fewer than 100 rounds through it, is in “as new” condition. The trigger has been tuned to break cleanly at 3.75 lbs with very little take up and no over-travel. It comes in the original protective case with all the factory accessories (double mag pouch, paddle holster, two magazines, extra red fiber optic rod, cleaning brush) plus two extra SA 9mm magazines for a total of four mags (3 w/base pads).
