This is an excellent condition example of a very desirable FN49. 6,306 were made under the Lux contract by FN in the early 50s. Chambered in the 30/06 round. I’ve shot it with 150grain Garand ammo, and it is an absolute pleasure to shoot. It has an adjustable gas valve to accommodate different loads of ammo. Parts to keep them running strong are still readily available, but with normal use, it should last a lifetime. The bore is great and rifling is strong. For sale for $1,950. Then it can become the pride of your collection.
