Item Description: Up for sale is a New England Westinghouse M91 Mosin Nagant.
These are American produced mosins for the imperial Russian government in WWI.
Bluing has given way to a light patina over the rifle, but there is absolutely zero pitting. The bolt is a combination of Remmington and Westinghouse parts, trigger, magazine, and rear sight are tula. Rifle is NOT import marked, and NOT a Finnish capture. Mixmatched throughout.

This rifle is 100% functional and would be great to fill a hole in a mosin collection.

Hmm...no Russian crest, does it have the U.S. flaming bomb on it?

The crest is faint but visible. This was one of the rifles that managed to get shipped to Russia before the revolution, but the fact it has no import mark or finish capture marks, means this rifle has a bit of a mysterious past.
