Item Description: Mosquito Magnet that will eliminate mosquitoes for a very large area. The unit burns propane to generate Carbon Dioxide which attracts mosquitoes which are then pulled into a fine mesh bag. The unit works well and comes with two propane tanks. One tank is full and the other may have a little in it.

I got on of these last year off ODT and my Wife who couldn't so much as step on the deck to feed cats without getting bit, went all summer with no bites, I am on 5/8 acre and placed it near the deck, great if you have the problem of perky mosquitos.

Do you turn it on just before going outside or leave it on all the time?

Turn it on a little before you go outside and it will clear the area. If you turn it on just when you go outside and sit down the mosquito might find you before the magnet gets it. Instructions are on line.
