Very stable lake, river, coastal or swamp kayak with rudder. I have only used this kayak in Lake Lanier but it is perfect for long distance paddling and has storage compartments. The rudder can be down or up and is deployable or retractable from a seated position in the event you get into shallow water. The rudder is great on open water when the wind is blowing and is controlled with adjustable foot pedals inside the kayak. It is 12 feet in length, has carry handles in the stern and bow but is light weight enough to carry from the cockpit and put on roof racks. Mike sixseveneight52threeseven08zero
