Not to go off topic or hijack your thread, but I've always been told that any serious business AR MUST have FA. I'd certainly appreciate any insight you have on the matter.
That is one badass AR you got there though. I love the lower especially. It's not often that you see people actually USE their AR...and your's has seen some use! Kudo's on a nice build!

Thank you for the kind word gents. The lower's been through a lot (probably 4 different uppers). It was finished with Alumahyde about 2 years ago.

Bushpig, if a round does not want to go in the chamber, why would you force it in? Rack it out and chamber a new round. It's easier to chamber a new round than trying to remove a stuck case (that you forced in with the FA) with a sheared rim.

Forgot to mention, I have a bunch of extras for whoever buys this setup. Spike's T2 Tungsten buffer, Magpul BAD level type device as seen above, the paracord pistol grip,.223/5.56 boresnake, CAT M4 cleaning tool, and a pair of ESS Crossbow Suppressor eye protection.

Revolver, that makes perfect sense, thanks. I have 2 uppers without F/A. I was thinking of trading them off or selling them so that I can get uppers with F/A, simply because that's what everyone's been pressing..."Don't use any upper without F/A for serious business!". I grew up on the FAL/ Galil/ AK platforms, so I'm used to just racking another round in the chamber, like you said.
