Item Description: For sale is my Remington 770 Whitetail Pro Youth in .243. I bought it 2 years ago (paid $329 plus tax at BassPro) when my wife expressed interest in hunting with me. She went with me twice, didn't like the cold, and has since decided she doesn't care to hunt anymore. It's had 1 box of ammunition run through it when it was sighted in and she practiced with it. After season, I cleaned and oiled it, and it has been sitting in my gun safe since. It comes with a Butler Creek sling, a Tasco World Class 3-9x40 scope (with BDC reticle), flip scope covers, and a full box of Federal ammunition. The Tasco scope was an 'upgrade' from the no-name scope from the factory. The rifle is in like-new condition. I do not have the original packaging with it.
The rifle functions just like it did when it was purchased, and would be a great starter rifle for a young hunter or smaller framed person looking for a mild caliber.
