It's a Savage Model 10 in 7mm 08 Remington caliber. No part of the gun was made by Remington. The hottest load in the loading manual is about 3100 FPS.

The caliber is a Remington caliber brother. The rifle is all savage that's what he's trying to let you know

Dean best way to see the value of your rifle is to check gunbroker and check completed sales on a model 10 in 7mm-08 . It might not be what your expecting but it will give you an idea of what the older non accutrigger models are bringing , you are not to far off

I checked but could not find one with a wood stock. Others were selling new for 669.99. What would this value in your opinion?
