Item Relisted! FS Remington Savage 7mm-08

Dean, that velocity number is referring to the projectile’s capability to expand and retain weight. The projectile is only the part that leaves the barrel. If that projectile was loaded into any cartridge (ie: 7-30 Waters to 7mm SAUM) producing between 2000 and 3400fps it would both expand and retain 95% of its weight. 7mm-08 produces between 2300(heavy projectile) and 3300(light projectile). Most common 7mm-08 hunting loads are around 2800.

nobody wants to throw a number out there but i will. a year ago that gun would have sold for about 250-300 dollars. today you might get an extra 50 out of it if somebody really wants it. if you're looking for a rifle with mild recoil you basically have one right there. shoot 139 or140 grain factory loads and it's lighter than a .308 for sure. it's a desirable caliber in a solid platform. most people don't but i like the pre-accutrigger triggers on those guns. they are easy to adjust and crisp but a little heavy.

Thanks for your opinion but I disagree with you. This gun has never been shot and is worth a lot more than that. If you are trying to talk me down move on to someone else.
