Item Description: First year production Ruger No. 3 chambered in 45-70 Gov’t. This rifle is not drilled and tapped for bases, as the first No. 3’s were not. This fine little rifle is in fantastic shape, metal and bluing is 100% and the wood only has two small impressions near the lever. It is a light, short rifle, making it a great mountain rifle and would also make some great medicine for a North Ga black bear.
