Item Description: Ruger Old Army, SS. I made the black-walnut loading stand (works great and is beutiful, very robust and heavy), comes with the 0.457 ball mould, some wadding, my custom made "corn-meal dipper", mason jar of corn-meal, some wadding, what's left of a tin of caps, the wooden ramrod I made (in the picture). I just never use it. Someone else might enjoy. Supplies enough to have you ready to shoot.

I used No..11 caps if I remember correctly; 7 1/2" barrel; FFF black powder. I haven't shot it much, I'm into flintlock rifles, not into pistols, so I'd rather sell to someone who is.

They kind of go together...the stand has no value without the pistol, it would stink the house to burn for firewood because of all the oils in it...

:-)

Thank you for kind words. I hope I don't regret selling this in 15 years when I get to retire (hopefully) and have more time to play with toys. So if it doesn't sell I'll be just as happy. :-)

Ok I'm showing my stupidity but I'm going to ask anyway cause I just don't know. What's the corn meal used for?
