Yes thats correct. It was bought in '83 given to my father until he passed 3 yrs. at which time the gun was given back to me. My father only shot the gun when i gave it to him, it was put in a safe and been in safe ever since.

I purchased the gun in '83, and gave to my father, he put in the safe and has been there ever since. I am a law enforcement officer and have had many guns during the years and I have no idea what happened with that particular paperwork or the box. Sorry.
