For anyone interested, if this is a magnum caliber(long action), you can get a barrel from McGowan Precision in 338 Edge for it. It has better performance than the 338 Lapua, and it is much cheaper to shoot. These are great guns to learn how to change barrels, set headspace, etc... The barrel would set you back around 350-400 plus the 300 for the gun, and you would have a slightly better performer than a 338 Lapua for 650-700. That is a fraction of the cost of 338 Lapua.
