SIG556 Russian, chambered for the widely used 7.62 x 39mm caliber. Using AK-type magazines, the shooter now has a more potent round for small to medium game. Features a Swiss folding stock, and an M1913 rail for accessory attachment. The 16” barrel features four-groove rifling and a twist rate of 1:9.5”. Measures 35.875” but can fold to 26”, making it ideal for situations where maximum maneuverability is required. For Special Forces requiring an accurate, more potent rifle, chambered in 7.62x39mm, the SIG556R sets a new standard for dependable
operation and function.
Only about 50-100 rounds through barrel. comes with original Tapco, 4 steel magazines, Sig Red Dot site and magpul MS3 sling.
This is the second revision of this rifle, as evidenced with the "C" in the serial number with steel inserts on the mag catch.
The sale will also include 500 rounds of 7.62x39.
The rifle is an absolute dream to shoot, currently zero'd at 50 yards. Very stable and very accurate for an AK pattern rifle, if you feed it quality ammo.. everything the AK wants to be but cannot. The reason for selling is that I've standardized around the 5.56x45 round for competition shooting.
This rifle is also for sale on an auction site and may be removed if asking prices is met.
