Ok......I had a moment of clarity. We have a member with 114 deals and all positive feedback. And, a new member with 0 deals and 0 feedback. I've got it now.

Never once moved the goalpost. Dealt with this trader in a very straightforward manner and he continually texted me and eventually agreed to the terms I had clearly laid out. Then he ghosted me and followed up a day or two later trying to trade me a different gun after he traded the gun he originally offered to me.

If he indeed served the country he has my thanks, but he is by no means a man of his word.
