West German SigArms P226 for sale. It would make for an excellent project gun for someone willing to put some love into it. Those were my plans for it, but Christmas is just around the corner. The slide has been nickel plated, while the frame appears to have the factory finish. Everything works as it should, however it will need a new magazine as it no longer locks the slide open upon empty. I have only fired it once, since buying it. Tysons corner guns are collectable this one has the mud rails only made a few years . My 1985 is pre mud rails
This makes your gun more "rare" but slightly less desirable to some . Good price as long as your aware of the issues with the mud rails and it isn't cracking it should be fine. I would just cerokote it and shoot it .

Appreciate the info about Tysons Corner. I had looked into the mud rails. I didn't see any cracks or damage to them, when I looked. That was the plan, I just never got around to it.
