Always two prices. What one man will give and another will take. Go to Gun Broker Find the little green Advanced thingy. Touch it. Put your revolver in and hit bids high to low. It will show you what your revolver has SOLD for not asking price. Best advice I have. If you can figure it out keep it to yourself. Always look at add description as if you were buying the gun.

Sir, if your box is original to your model 51 and I assume it is, the Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson says serial numbers M60001 thru M99999 were made from 1973 thru 1977. I believe your revolver's serial number (M60136) falls in this range and could not be from the 60's. Still a very Smith & Wesson. GLWS!
