Item Description: Here we have a real prize. It is a one family owned Post war M&P (pre model 10) 38 spl snub nose Nickel in outstanding condition. Perfect bore, original Nickel, and all matching numbers. You may see dust and smudges but it is in great condition. It was purchased new by a family member who is now deceased. I have known the whereabouts of the piece from the time I was young. It was in the box for years but since then that box is gone. It was originally purchased by my Grandfather for my Grandmother. It was in her night stand. I never remember even one time that gun was ever fired. I now have had it for many years and have never fired it and it does show that it probably was never used for anything. There is no pitting, no damage, everything locks up extremely tight. It just has the typical fine handling marks that you see on most any nickel gun that is almost ¾ century old. Looks like it was made in late 40’s. I think since the nickel is in such good shape and not worn, that the handling marks could definitely be polished out but I will let the new owner decide. 875.00 contact me if you want firearm shipped.
