Older model, manufacture date of 2005, dont worry its a stihl and runs like a champ!
Starts in a couple pulls and runs wide open, idles as it should.
Perfect for around the house because its mid length reach easily cuts shorter shrubs, as well as providing decent higher shrub trimming...less stooping down and less need of a ladder.
Could be an excellent backup piece for a landscape outfit also.
Hedge trimmers, especially stihl, are NOT cheap....why....all the machining that goes into making the blades.
This has a fixed, non adjustable blade system.
Very clean, well cared for unit with sharp blades...no blade sheath however.
All you need is good mix and overgrown bushes!
Todays version of the hl45 is the hl56 and they run $420 at all stihl dealers...save some serious coin here at $130.
