I'm a big fan of the Taurus 1911's.

What OP failed to mention is that these come with ambi safeties, extend beavertail, and CHECKERED front strap! IMHO, these are the best values in 1911's - you get a LOT for your money. And the trigger is oh-so-sweet! The sights are - oh wait, he said Trijicon - oh wait, dangit.

Did I mention front slide cuts?

Dang, at this price I may need a second one!

Oh, and that lifetime warranty thing...

I'm on my second pt1911 and not sure why they get no love. Every Taurus I have or had goes bang every time.

I'd buy it if I were closer.

Yeah I have had a few different Taurus pistols and they have always went bang when I pulled the trigger. And for the price they come pretty well equipped.

I have the railed PT 1911 and have never had any problems out of her and she is the most in spec 1911 that you will find out there for the money.
