Very cool! Know anything about its history? What was the original chambering? At first glance it appears to be an original 1892 that was rechambered or had the barrel lined? If so, any information on who did the work?
In your fourth photo that shows the .357 chambering, there is a caliber on the top of the barrel. Looks like XX-XX W.C.F - is it .38-40 WCF perhaps? Something else?
