Item Description: This is a 17' Chesapeake Light Craft sea kayak. Professionally built with the best materials available. I also have two of the new modular design which are easier to store. My price of 600 is about half of the material cost and boats take 100 hours to build.

Some really nice work. Have never owned one but paddled some, and they are a whole 'nother class than a plastic tub.

I have no use for one, but, having owned 4 plastic kayaks and one vinyl inflatable one, I've got to say that this one is GORGEOUS. Very classy, and it looks like a recent build, so the wood should still be sturdy and the glue still strong.

They are Okume marine plywood with a layer of fiberglass and top coated with Epiphanies marine varnish so the resin won't get hazy. The one on the car is 20 years old, sanded and refinished 5 years ago.
