Item Relisted! FS Zastava M70 OPAP New, Never Fired

I'm not 100% sure I'm selling yet, just putting it out there to gauge interest. Bought back in 2013 or 2014, been sitting in a padded case ever since. Make me an offer I can't refuse.

Brand New Zastava M70 OPAP. Never Fired. Instruction manual included, may also have original box if you care about that. Will have to check.

Also comes with 6 metal mags (30rd) and 1000rds of TulAmmo steel case ammo plus ammo can. Obviously 1300 would be for the rifle only, add in the ammo + mags + can and we're closer to $1900.

Wood is still original so you can treat however you want. Always meant to get around to sanding and staining but never did.

This is the 1st generation OPap with military-ready front & rear sight, only 3000 (gen-1’s) imported.. as reflected in the ser#’s.

That's super interesting. What is the importance of that? I thought the OPAP was gen 3?

OPap is OPap, 1.5mm receiver and RPK bulged front trunnion. 1st 3000 had military-ready front and rear sights (yours above).

2nd batch of OPaps about 2 years later, 7000 of them, had common commercial type front and rear sights

NPap was prior to ^^^ these, 1mm thin receiver and non-RPK front trunnions and all had commercial sights

Very interesting. Didn't know all that. I thought there was PAP, then NPAP, then OPAP... wasn't aware there were batches of OPAP.

Century tried to slip those gen-2’s in on unsuspecting buyer, like how many guys squint their eyes to look at tiny holes and small slots in the sights,, well, besides AK nut-cases like me

I suppose I should be glad you've identified mine as a Gen 1 then... And you're welcome to squint your eyes at mine if you like.
